Framing your pastel paintings
This kind of artwork needs to be framed under
non refletive glass, the glass prevents damage caused by moisture,
dirt, insects, ultraviolet light and possible rubbings that
would alter the integrity of the artwork.
The pastel paintings must be framed with a passpartou that
will do of support. Hang your pastel paintings with an acid
free tape in the top part of the passpartou, leaving the paper
to hang freely inside the frame. If the artwork is too big
add acid free tape on the bottom as well.
Do not attempt to clean your pastel paintings with a brush
or water, you will only cause permanent damage to the painting.
With this simple care your painting is ready to be exhibited.
